perhaps you mean combining the git lesson with the git-github lesson? like merging the two repos?

Oh sorry, that might be a good idea actually but I just meant have them in the same groups for both trainings. In the git lesson they're in a group and do a lab as that group, then split off into new groups by the git-github training. Either because it's delivered by someone else or merely because they've gone back to their original seats. I was just aiming to have them remain in the same groups through both trainings, to minimize time spent moving around the room.

I remember one of the last times was on point for a delivery we lost a solid 20-30 minutes to just finding new partners, getting groups together etc.

Does that make more sense?

for the past two or three cohorts we've had the same person deliver them both back to back so this might not be an issue anymore. we can leave this open for another cohort or two and see if we're still good.
