README.md

Technologies:

Roadtrip was built with Express back end and React front end using Google APIs.

About Roadtrip:

The Roadtrip app was designed with large scale in mind built by small features. The future goal that is already being developed for Roadtrip is to increase functionality, so Roadtrip helps you manage your stops at specified times/distances to improve your Roadtrip planning. I am working on the algorithm to find the geolocation cooridinates along a route at a given time and/or distance. Currently the Token Auth system used in Roadtrip was designed by Jackie Casper, and much of the backend of Roadtrip references previous projects such as the BarCrawl app and the UX Weather App. The functionality is working and created to add stops to your roadtrip, but in order to render the clearest information given the time constraints, I have not launched that functionality yet. Currently Roadtrip offers step by step instructions and a clear map for the basic route you save for your next roadtrip. This app could not have been created without much help from Tims Gardner, Jackie Casper, and Varun Pai helping to work through logistics and fix bugs.
